The description Kashya provides suggests that she is undead, but she is considered a demon in-game.īlood Raven uses ranged attacks enchanted with Fire. She must be killed as part of the Sisters' Burial Grounds quest, given to you by Kashya. īlood Raven appears as a Super Unique found in the Burial Grounds of Act I of Diablo II. However, she was put down by a group of heroes. While the Sisterhood was forced to flee into the wilderness, Blood Raven established herself in the monastery graveyard, raising deceased Rogues as zombies. Blood Raven assaulted her fellow Rogues in the battle, and at some point, was made undead. It was a mistake that cost the order dearly, as, taking on the name of "Blood Raven," Moreina fell into the league with Andariel as the Lesser Evil took over Eastgate Keep. Akara sensed that something was wrong with her, and feared (correctly) that she'd encountered an evil force at Tristram. However, she carried something dark within her a silent madness that ate away at her once noble heart. Īfter Diablo's defeat, Moreina returned to her order. After a mighty battle, the demon was felled. Eventually, they reached the horror in the labyrinth's darkest depths: Diablo, Lord of Terror. Entering the cathedral, the trio encountered and dispatched many horrors, including The Butcher and King Leoric, the monarch having now become the Skeleton King. Moreina herself led them, and after arriving in town, she found two allies: Jazreth of the Vizjerei Clan, and Aidan, prince of Khanduras. However we're talking Blizzard and retcons are not a new thing. The Sisterhood of the Sightless Eye sent a number of Rogues to investigate Tristram as it suffered from the presence of Diablo. The more i read the lore (and i'm a fanatic for Diablo lore) the less sense it makes for Lilith to be a full-fledged baddie (while it's easy to see why we would fight her). What this means in the long term is unknown given Lilith's will, but i think everything is preparing towards another menace yet to be revealed. ![]() Lilith despises the demon lords, so she's not going to side with them. ![]() With angels basically leaning on the "nephalem are better dead" and Inarius being imprisoned, Rathma's only way to get some powerful ally is to call back Lilith from her exile in the Void. Sanctuary is completely defenseless against the Buring Hell invasion which we know for sure it's going to happen, now that all major demons are free and there's no barrier anymore to defend the realm. My guesswork: everything is breaking loose, especially since Diablo nearly destroyed the Heavens and Malthael did what he did. Him being a disciple of Trag'Oul, puts balance between order and chaos as its utmost priority. However, while this seems on line with Lilith's plans, in fact Rathma also hated how his mother wanted control over her children and use them as an army. He hated the fact the Worldstone acted as a lock for Nephalem powers and actively helped Uldyssian reach it and "unlock" it. If i have to go with the books, Rathma shared a vision with Lilith with the Nephalem being the strongest and independent, thus was at scorn with Inarius when he decided all nephalem should worship only him and started to kill every single one of the first generation. The description in the Sin War books fits and he calls Lilith "mother", which is taken pretty literally - Rahtma is actually Linarius, first son of Inarius and Lilith. The "pale guy" in the trailer si supposed to be Rathma itself. ![]() Family is still family.Eh, we're entering fancy territory. ![]() At the same time she kinda created sanctuary with Inarius to create a world for them to live outside the battle between hell and angels afaik.
