One of my camera bodies has a clock that runs significantly fast, and the drift can become large over time. I have made a list of these near the end. Fortunately the main ones have now been fixed, via Mantis, but some quirky behaviour remains. PSU in early versions had a number of bugs in the geotag panel. It should be easy, but seems to cause me issues whenever I geotag. The only reason why the process has been troublesome is quirks, bugs and features of the software and hardware involved. I have included a glossary of abbreviations at the end.įirst, some scene setting. This post will explain how to geotag images with PSU using GPX files, and how to avoid the “gotchas”. (NB Because Google have started requiring credit cards to be entered, as has been discussed in these forums, Routeconverter’s development has recently been paused indefinitely and it may no longer be as good a choice as it was). I use routeconverter ( ) to view and edit trackfiles but there are various websites and apps that allow viewing and/or editing of a track. You can simply use a text editor but there are many specialist applications that make it easier, most which will show your track on a map.
